very short

It was an OK story but lacked any meat. Charity is a great author and I have enjoyed many of her books. This could actually be a really good book, just needs more please

Very quick little read

This is an extremely short read. But I hope it is just a teaser for a story to come.

Set in the same world as the first book a little further down the time line. Looks like Randall might get a chance at love. I enjoyed finding out more about him and his magic tricks.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Hollie Jackson, who does a great job with all the voices. I enjoyed her pace and tone throughout the read. Definitely one I would like to hear again.
