I enjoyed the suspense as Zack sluthed the source of the murders in town.

As a fellow BAFERD this book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Great job Mike. I hope there is another book soon.

Thriller and Mystery

I absolutely loved this audio book. It was the best medical mystery book I’ve listened to and it kept me on edge. It was so well written that I couldn’t figure out who the murderer was. What a great ending and I can’t wait for your next book.

Fast-paced, moving, compelling

Warm and Dead is a detective novel in a medical setting with an ER physician as the protagonist. The characters are deliciously flawed. There are levels of deception and discovery that makes the book compelling reading to the very end. The romantic interests are well-done. As a physician, I found this book without the usual medical errors of fiction writers, not surprising as Mike Krentz has had careers as an ER physician and military physician before devoting his full effort to writing. As a father, I was choked up and brought almost to tears at the moving scenes involving family trauma.
