He walked out of my dream, identifying himself only as the Weaver. In a black cloak, with eyes like stars, there was a shimmer to the way he moved. He was beautiful…. Ethereal. And I was going to make him mine.

Alone for most of her life, Milly is determined to make the man of her dreams a reality. Using her hereditary magic, she sets out on a lifelong quest, entering a world of shadows and secrets. Little does she know that to possess his heart, she’ll have to give away her own…for the only way to love a Dream Weaver is to become his Queen of Nightmares.

The choice between love and magic is a dangerous thing.

I loves the plot and the story but I wish there were more details. like I want more of the scene and more information.

The narrator makes the MFC sound like she's a fifteen year old girl and it really took me out of this story.
The story itself was ok. Just ok. My two main negative takeaways:

- Rushed YA feeling Romance
Inst-love is always 'meh' for me

- Weak conflict/weak explanations
"that's just the way things are" gets thrown around a lot in lieu of actual reasons for things. Not good enough even for fantasy magic imo

Overall the witchy/magic vibe was good, the characters and story, kinda meh. I would give it 2.5 stars

Not a fan of the narrator

Everything felt very one dimensional. The story, the reading - nothing had any depth. Mid-conversation the chapter would change. Everything felt rushed and like a first draft. The best part was the cat.

Flat

Tish Thawer has done it again. She's written a beautiful story filled with hereditary magic, travel, history, and, most of all...fated love. #Weaver #yafantasy #bookish #fantasybooks #witchy #dreammagic
