A bit of fun

Although not very believable for the time period, I enjoyed the bravery of the MFC. In fact, a lot of this story seemed out of time (more like the 20th century than the 19th), so I considered it fluff as there's not much substance. Easy read. Good narration.

Bethany is Awesome

Absolutely amazing, loved it. Ethan and Lodi, returning from Any Rogue Will Do. brought me great delight.

Best historical romance of the year!!

This was a hidden gem!! It’s better than the first book in the series. I love the unique story and complex plot. This kept me guessing. Cal was thoughtful and swoon worthy, while Ophelia was smart, strong , and bad-A!! This very unique book is now in my top favorite books of the year. Definitely worth a credit!!

Wow!

To think how well this was written and the skill it took to get the h out of the mess she was in and actually make it make sense. I didn’t think it could believably or even sort of reasonably be done and what a surprise it was. It was very well done and incredibly enjoyable.
If anything, for me, I didn’t need quite so much of a look into their sex life. It was well written, just quite a lot of it.

The narrator did an excellent job.

Loved Phee and Cal

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Loved the partnership between the main characters and the original storyline. Fun and heartfelt at the same time.
