A New York Times, USA Today, and Indie bestseller!

Critically acclaimed and bestselling authors Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera combine their talents in this smart, funny, heartfelt collaboration about two very different boys who can’t decide if the universe is pushing them together—or pulling them apart.

ARTHUR is only in New York for the summer, but if Broadway has taught him anything, it’s that the universe can deliver a showstopping romance when you least expect it.

BEN thinks the universe needs to mind its business. If the universe had his back, he wouldn’t be on his way to the post office carrying a box of his ex-boyfriend’s things.

But when Arthur and Ben meet-cute at the post office, what exactly does the universe have in store for them . . . ?

Maybe nothing. After all, they get separated.

Maybe everything. After all, they get reunited.

But what if they can’t nail a first date even after three do-overs?

What if Arthur tries too hard to make it work and Ben doesn’t try hard enough?

What if life really isn’t like a Broadway play?

But what if it is?

What if it’s us?

Plus don't miss Here's to Us! Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera reunite to continue the story of Arthur and Ben, the boys readers first fell for in What If It’s Us.

An engrossing story about young love, coming of age, learning about yourself and learning about who you are through the lenses of others, and pushing through whatever uncertainty lies ahead. The authors did a wonderful job of portraying two sides of this relationship. The two boys at the heart of this story felt fully-formed, realistic, and like people you want to win in the end. I wish there was a story like this around to read when I was in high school, because the way that the boys both come from accepting and loving families and friend groups and are encouraged to step out and be themselves would be so inspiring for young LGBT people to identify with. The audiobook performance was excellent and really brought the characters to life.

I mean it’s kitschy but it’s so freaken cute! I found myself uncontrollably smiling so much throughout this book. The performances are awesome, the story is sweet and sentimental and mostly realistic. The story touches on many aspects of a teens life, from first loves, to parental issues such as divorces, and also offers the reader/listener some guidance on how to handle insecurities and ignorance. Over all a very sweet and cute book.

Cute all around

It's easy to want to bash this story for not being more of a fairy tail, but in a way, the fact that it isn't, is the best part about it. It's realistic and full in the spectrum of emotions and social nuances it explores. It's funny, and adorable, and overly dramatic in the way you expect all young love stories to be, but it doesn't overdo a single piece of it. The ending may not make everyone happy, but it strongly ties together the main point the plot tries to make. Froy and Noah are absolutely perfect. Noah's already done a lot Audible. He never disappoints, and now I'm rooting for Froy to do more! Do yourself a favor and check out this book. It's the kind of story that can be many different things to many different people.
