intriguing though somewhat predictable

the reader was, in general, excellent. I only gave her 4 stars because of the sketchy American accent. And the southern drawl sounded like a combination of Texas, Louisiana, and West Virginia. But I did enjoy the book.

SO GOOD! but might be difficult for some.

I really enjoyed this book. It kept me interested and guessing the whole time. The writing is smart and the narration is perfect. Just wanted to put it out there that it may be upsetting for some readers/ listeners due to a sexual abuse sub-theme.

Kept me listening

I was happy with this and her last book. Both kept me listening attentively until the end.

Too graphic for my preference

I liked the storyline, but didn’t need the rape and sex scenes over and over again.

Great Twists and turns!

I really enjoyed this story as it unwound itself. The narrator did a fabulous job of different voices also. I like the way the author built the story out of natural circumstance, into a bigger, thicker plot. Well done.
