Oliver

Rivals since before birth, there has never been a time when my family hasn't hated the Lockwoods and their daughter Harlow. But she made it personal, no longer just a rivalry between our parents.

Now she's here, at Bayshore University, without her family's protection. There's nothing to stop us from getting our revenge on her, no one to tell us enough is enough.

And so my brothers and I have devised a plan. We'll break her, have her falling at her knees for us in no time, and then we'll send her back to her family with a warning: Cross the Bishops again and you'll pay.

Harlow

I've despised the smug, stupidly gorgeous Bishop brothers since I was a small child. Our families rivalry was one that started years before us, and one that I wanted to end. All I wanted was to enjoy college and move on with my life. But your past can never stay hidden, right?

When the Bishop brothers turn up at my school I have no place to run. I know they'll make certain I pay for every single bad-mouthed remark I or my parents ever made about them. At Bayshore, I'm at their mercy, and they won't stop until my heart is a bleeding mess.

I struggled listening to the audible version of this book. I couldn't finish it. The person narrating has a trembling voice and sounds to be an older woman reading when the character is a college girl. Inflections were exaggerated and her way of speaking was just... strange.

Terrible narrator

the first book sets the tone, second builds the story makes it spicy, and the third brings it all together.
which isn’t bad, this story had so much going on, one thing after the other. i loved the drama and even the characters. except.. the main character felt lacking, if she had more of a back bone, some fire. her voice was not heard she was pretty much just pushed into different paths, she stood up for herself sometimes and made some choices, but there was too much uncertainty in her. i will say in the second book it wasn’t her fault but if she had risen from the ashes like a pheonix this would have been fantastic.
overall i liked the books but i definitely was left wanting more.

great plot, but could have been more

Am in my late 20's, Am not going to lie. I really thought the storyline and the characters would be as good, as any book out there. Boy, was I wrong. They took the whole, "Blondes are dumb" stereotype to a whole NEW F-ing level. She is completely naive and constantly taking the 3 men back because their "Hot" (nothing like a real life person!). I was taught if a man is being a d!ck, than kick him in his d!ck. The Author tries to make it seem like our Heroine is a slight bad ass for standing up for her own values when she finally comes of legal age to leave her manipulative family behind (which I could relate to this part.) but soon quickly she is a complete cup of pudding for her rivals, she is nothing; like how she was described in the first chapter. The Author also repeated sentences for some weird as$ reason?! That really killed any immersed attention I had for the storyline. The ONLY THING that kept me reading was this small glimmer of mystery, "Who is trying to kill our Heroine!?" and all the cool twists at the end! That is why I bought book 2. Hopefully Book 2 and 3 save the crap show of book 1. but in all 3 star work.

Heroine is too WEAK!

This book kept me on my toes. There are a few pieces of info missing, but I believe the info will be more in depth in the next book. I love the ups and downs and am looking forward to the next book. I highly recommend.

Those Boys need a swift kick in the rear!!!

This book kept me on the edge of my seat! Can't wait for the next one in the series. Didn't see the twist at the end coming at all.

From enemies to lovers!
