Enjoyable and Captivating!

I really enjoyed this audiobook. I didn't know what to expect at first, as I'm new to this genre, but I found the story relatable, funny, and romantic. The narrator does a nice job contrasting the characters, and the story flows very nicely. I'd listen to more audiobooks by this author for sure!

Would I listen to it again: there are others i'd listen to before it, but I wouldn't not give it another go.
Did the story keep me engaged: reasonably
Was I invested in the characters: not particularly
What did I like about the story? good pace and interesting characters. Entertaining story of the struggles it takes to make things work, over bearing mothers and all !

Premise of the story was good and it was entertaining I"m just not a fan of some of the things Claire did or her behaviour.

I enjoy Danny Cespedes as a narrator and think he has done a good job on bringing the characters in this book to life.

Uggghhh narration

The narrator was horrible. The story would possibly been better if told in a first person . I didn’t need to know what all of the characters were thinking.. too much information... I’ve listened to other books by this author. This was uggghhh hard to listen too

Playful, Fun, Enjoyable Romance!

The story of Ary and Claire is captivating, from their awkward beginnings that started as a case of mistaken identity but kindled a passionate romance. The obstacles that they have to endure to pursue their romance only heighten the tension - primarily Ary's overberaing and domineering mother. The characters are relatable, and Danny Céspedes does a terrific job of bringing the characters to life and telling a great story. Highly recommended!

When Things Get Awesome

I love the interplay of the characters. Very good plot, too. I would definitely give this a second listen. D. Cespedes makes the whole thing come alive, like a movie in my mind. Unforgettable.
