Wedding bells are in the future for Darby Buckingham, the West's hardest-hitting, toughest-fighting, fastest- thinking hero. But when his fianceé Dolly Beavers fails to show for their announced wedding, he realizes something is wrong. He strikes out for Reno, convinced she must be a victim of foul play. Darby is accompanied by an overzealous, aspiring young writer. Looking after this tenderfoot while tracking down Dolly's captors on a danger-ridden trail that winds through Nevada, Wyoming and Colorado, Darby wonders if he'll live to see his wedding day.©2008 Books In Motion (P)2008 Books In Motion Fiction Genre Fiction Westerns

This is another good book about Darby Buckingham. I have liked all of the books in this series. In this book Derby is looking for Dolly. They were supposed to be married and she dosent show up. Darby knows somethings wrong. He goes looking for her. He meets Austin and makes friends. They work together. He also teams up with Burt. Dolly has been kidnapped by her past husband. Darby finds out that Dolly had two kids when she was young and they were taken from her. They go looking for them. All of these books has been good in this series. But this is my favorite, this one reminds me of the early books in the series. Gene Engene does a great job narrating this book.
