Very creative story, the narration was wonderful. I enjoyed the creative monster. I chose this author based on a short story in an anthology. Eggshell, it made me want more from her.

Great story!

This was a rough one. If you are sensitive to gore this book is not for you. The FMC is hard to like. She really only does for herself the entire book. So trying to understand her loving anyone is laughable. I get she is going through hell but goodness she is selfish. That was really distracting to me, maybe not for all with this kind of book. The story was unique and intriguing but you won’t like any of the characters. It was hard to even know who or what to root for. Really great performance by the narrator!!

Unique but hard to like

The story started out great but just got too fanciful for me. It’d be great for group discussions and interpretations but for an individual reader I was disappointed with the ending. I wanted a conclusion along with more reality.

Sci-Fi fantasy

Interesting story and characters. I liked the creepiness and felt captivated by the writing….read it in two days. Highly recommend!
