Stacia Reynolds, the famous White Werewolf, plucked from her quiet Vermont life and thrust into the supernatural world. Rescued from mauling by the Hammer of God himself, transformed into one of the most skilled weres in the world, stepping from impoverishment to fame and fortune, and destined to become partner to the most powerful witch ever. This is a story for Demon Accords fans, told by Stacia, in her own words.

Really good filler story but not a stand alone. Because I have read the other books in the series (multiple times), I was able to follow along. I enjoyed not having to rehash the earlier tales to get this story. I think it might be a little difficult to follow if I hadn't already been a follower of the Demon Accords.
I wasn't crazy about the narrator, but I'm not sure if it was just my opinion or if others might agree.

Great story!

I do think John is my favorite author but please do some new projects. I understand if the demon accords is played out but i enjoyed your other work as much. Everyone else has already covered the reader,.

Love John but please do some new work

Well it’s hard with a brand new narrator to tell characters apart a lot.especially after listening to ALL the others in a different voice. I feel there were huge amount of missed opportunities to tell *new stories, not just repeat all the same events but from her POV. Something was missing from it,can’t put my finger on it. The characters behaviors are dulled down. The “love story” makes it seem very casual. In conclusion, if you’ve read the Demon Accord series, you kinda should read this book.

Good filler novel, read Demon Accord series first though.

I’m all for changing from the voice we’re used to hearing to a woman reader for a book that is focused on a female character, but PLEASE find someone willing to find out how character names are pronounced - and in far too many cases, how English words are pronounced. Very distracting.

The story is solid, though seems to retcon the timing of certain milestones in her relationship with Declan.

Most of the major characters have at this point either had their own book-length treatment or at least had their perspective be part of one of the anthologies. If I had to pick, hearing from Elder Senka next would be cool.

Do not use this reader again!

itsa pretty interesting viewpoint and adds more color to the series. my only complaint is the narrator it's terrible at pronunciations. other than that great addition to the series

not too bad
