There has been a major upheaval at Mount Weather. The president has been assassinated. Her running mate, who was her husband, is sworn in as president in order to preserve democracy, but in only a short time his behavior has put the Mount Weather community in a state of turmoil.

If that wasn't bad enough, Chinese soldiers have been discovered on American soil and the zeds, already an ever present danger, are continuing to show signs of cognition and teamwork. The motives of both are unknown but do not bode well for the survivors.

Brilliant series I want more

I absolutely love the characters in this series, the plots are excellent, I can’t wait to read more I’m hoping there will be another book coming out soon there’s so much that could carry on the series.
I lived this series so much I couldn’t wait for next months credit and just outright purchased the 7th & 8th book I just had to know what was going to happen.

The narrator and author make a great team. I enjoy all the characters and the narrator has an amazing understanding of the author's intent.

Ok ok

So I gotta know what is the philly connection this Tennessee author has. As a Philadelphian originally from Delco I would like to request an anecdote in book 10 about Angelos cheesesteaks from the s philly guy at the Marcus hook refinery. I have worked in that building at Wharton . I so appreciate the accuracy and attention to details of locations. Now it was crazy he made the dec. pres elect and pres. “Liberals” ouch I’m just glad he didn’t make them from philly. Neither of them would have gotten past committee person here.
I literally went through this entire series in a week . I will patiently wait for book 9 audible version. Same actor please. I finally read the author’s bio. It all makes sense. I know my Dad would love this series.

Zach and Eve

You left me in a state of wonder. What happened to Zach and what happened to eve. Please tell me there is going to be another book or 10.
