Sappy hair smelling and lots of rubbing?

Quitting by 5th chapter. Story of stalking drug runners through the jungle is totally lost. The two main characters - she hates him for killing her father but can’t stop chasing him across the world and rubbing on him- he has so far spent his time sniffing her, rubbing her, protecting her, climbing trees with her, being jealous of any other male near. I’m 25 percent through and wish I had not purchased.
