While on vacation, Hayden Blake and his ex-boyfriend get into an ugly argument. Needing some space, Hayden storms out of their rented cabin and gets not only lost it in the dense woods of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but injured, as well. Being rescued is a miracle, but being rescued by a man who looks like a Norse god wearing plaid...that's a dream come true.

All Kurt Jorgenson wants is to go hunting and bag a sizable deer, but instead, he finds Hayden Blake, a city boy lost in Kurt’s forest. He takes Hayden home to care for his injuries, but Kurt finds himself drawn - in ways he hadn’t dreamed existed - to the young man he’s rescued and installed in his spare bedroom.

Kurt yearns to be everything Hayden needs, but he doesn't know where to start. Hayden desires Kurt and longs for a home, but he's not sure he has anything worthwhile to offer in return. However, with the help of a nosy librarian, a trip to Walmart, a pig named Wilbur, and cops bribed with cheese, Kurt and Hayden may find their way to a well-deserved happy ending.

Wild by Nature is a romance novella with a displaced twink, a confirmed bachelor, improper library behavior, pasties, shirtless wood chopping, fuzzy cows, and gas station pizza. It contains men falling in love, falling into bed, and just falling. Not necessarily in that order.

Perfection

This book was absolutely perfect! The characters are amazingly well written and you can help but fall in love with Daddy Thor and Hayden! The storyline is one that keeps your interest and is truly entertaining. Michael Ferraiuolo does an outstanding job with the voices. He really helps bring out the chemistry and humor between the two main characters.
Great read/listen!!

Daddy Thor!

Hayden turned Kurt out and made him his daddy of a life time. How sweet it is to read a story about a clueless, innocent, sex god, who knew nothing about having sex with another man. This was a different take regarding a daddy, boy, relationship. It was refreshing. I also loved the small town, warm vibe, of the story, along with the life of farming. Every animal gets a thumbs up. They allowed the reader to see how precious these two characters truly were in the story. This was a feel good read. And the narrator was amazing. I so recommend! Enjoy!

Steamy and fun read. Amazing narrator!!

Very steamy read, but also funny and sweet. I loved Kurt’s “awakening” as a daddy and how he went about educating himself. It was at once endearing and hilarious, especially with the help he got at the library from an unlikely source. Hayden is a great character too, highly entertaining and just what Kurt needs. He has a bit of trouble breaking away from his dominant, douchebag ex, but when it comes down to it, he does find the strength to stand up for himself. And of course, Kurt is right there by his side. I really liked the small-town vibe in this story and its gossipy but supportive community.
Michael Ferraiuolo is one of my all-time favorite narrators and I loved what he did this story! He captured both Kurt’s and Hayden’s personalities perfectly and brought the perfect amount of humor and emotion to the story. I loved it! He seems to have a limitless range of voices for all the characters in the books he narrates and this time was no different. What an amazing listening experience!

Short and Sweet

I enjoyed that the wildman character in this story wasn't the stereotypical growling alphahole. He was sweet and assertive and actually seemed like a good match for Hayden. I liked the way the daddy link aspects worked in this one, sometimes the dynamic can seem stilted or forced, it worked for these two though. The jerk ex was believably awful, all in all a fun take on the cityboy stranded in the wilderness trope, the early relationship developed fast, but that fits the trope too and considering Hayden's other options, it worked here. enjoyable listening experience.

Daddy Thor

I loved the ebook but the audio kicked that love up to a million.

Hearing that scene where Daddy Thor is looking up how to do what he was curious about in the library made me die laughing.

The narration by Michael F was perfect.
