This was the stupidest thing I’d ever done. “Take an adventure,” they said. “Do something wild,” they said.

Flying in a floatplane to a tiny town in nowhere, Alaska, was definitely wild. At least, for me. I was a Florida boy, born and raised. But when the website I worked for tasked me with writing an article about something I'd never done before, my stupid mouth had blurted, "I've never been to Alaska!"

But when I land on a pristine blue lake and don't die, I can't help but fall a little bit in love with the breathtaking place. And...okay...maybe I fall a little bit in love with the grumpy pilot too. If only I could convince him to set aside his mistrust of outsiders and give me a chance....

This new series is going to be great!

Love listening to Michael. He make the story come to life. These two characters are just adorable. Short and sweet book. Hope more little tidbits are released about them throughout the series.

Short but Sweet

I love Lucy Lennox, throw in Michael Dean with the narration and IMO, you’ve got a hit. This one was short but sweet. I loved this story of visiting for a vacation/work assignment and finding your partner. The town and the family also seem great, so I’d love to see it expanded into a full-blown series. For now, ENJOY!

Alaska or bust!

A much better story than On the Mall, but also too short. So I gave it a 3 stars.
Michael Dean is a AAA category narrator and I love Lucy! ❤️
