A search-and-rescue mission

turns into a deadly wilderness escape

When a plane carrying a federal witness crashes in the Montana backwoods, Officer Kelly Wayne and her K-9, Nico, track it down—and discover Ethan Harrigan injured with amnesia. Now with the mafia on their trail, Kelly must protect the man she thinks ruined her career. But nothing’s as it seems, and trusting the wrong person could get them all killed.

Love the bit of mystery, the twists and turns of surprises and sweetness of God’s truth

Exciting chase with a twist!

The twists keep coming in this one! Great dog with a handler intent on proving herself. The hero has lots of obstacles to overcome including remembering his own name. If you like lots of action, this story’s for you! Fantastic narrator as well!

Smashing!

Thought story was good. There was good action and kept you engrossed. Although I thought the words huffed and hissed was used to much and instead of using Nicos name they used Dog. I always used their name

Kelly

The flow of the story was distracting and difficult to follow at times because of a lack of continuity in the plot.

lacked continuity

I’m not sure if it is the way the story is written or the narrator, or both, but this was a very disjointed feeling book. Tidbits continued to be added through the story, but it was done in such a random way that it got annoying and boring. The narrator didn’t do a great job distinguishing between characters-she just didn’t change her voice enough. I’m not sure if it was the way the details were randomly added to the storyline or the narrator, but maybe the combination just made this story feel very stilted and disjointed. Definitely not my favorite in this series.

Narration isn’t the best
