Performed by Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton, the emotional, intense, and sexy romance Winning with Him is the second novel in the utterly addictive Men of Summer series!

Resisting the shortstop has never been my strong suit. I failed at it during my first spring training. It sure as hell looks like I'm about to fail at it again.

The sport I love playing with my very soul hangs in the balance. But everything my heart craves lies with the guy I've got to resist.

A guy who's asking me to make the toughest choice ever.

But how do I become the man I want to be...with him or without him?

Trouble is, I can't seem to get Declan out of my head, even if I stand to lose everything I've worked for my entire life...

Winning with Him is book two in the utterly addictive Men of Summer series and should be listened to following Scoring with Him. This romance between two professional athletes spans five epic years.

I couldn't wait for this to come out to find out what was going on with these guys. I hate cliffies but luckily didn't have to wait too long for this. Dec and Grant both have issues that need to be dealt with and finally figured out the best way to live their lives. It takes awhile to get there but it's what they both needed. I highly recommend this book for everyone!

Love Declan and Grant!

Grant and Declan continue to grow as people in this book. I am so happy that Declan decided to take steps to strengthen himself and separate himself from falling into the trap of his father's addictions. And kudos to Grant for being strong and putting himself first since he is always such a giver. I just love this series! 😍 These two will seriously melt your heart! 💕 Lauren Blakely is the queen of writing such beautifully flawed characters with the best hearts. You want to cry with them, hug them, be their friends. Mostly I just want to cheer them on to the happy ending they deserve. I obviously don't want to leave out the amazing narration by Jacob and Teddy. Keeping it 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 as usual! I also loved the Night Darling mention. 🎶 Listen to this book people!

The first time Lauren Blakely left us with a cliffhanger, and it totally paid off because the conclusion of Grant and Declan’s story is everything I was hoping for taking us on a cataclysmic rollercoaster ride filled with pain, joy, soul searing love, heat, desire and everything in between!

I really thought I knew the why of the message that changed both of our Heroes lives. But I was wrong and I’m okay with that, because when it’s revealed, I could feel my heart beating rapidly in my chest for the pain that was being inflicted on Grant and Declan. And with that one message, their lives move forward but not in a way that brings unparalleled joy to either of them, because they’re not with each other.

I was glued to my phone listening to Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton once again breathing life into a book with the way they express all the emotions that our Heroes are experiencing. Both Grant and Declan move forward in their baseball careers achieving some amazing accomplishments and we move very smoothly over months and years getting to see emotional growth for both of these men. And in my mind, it’s so they’re ready to once again be in each other’s hearts, minds and bodies. And when they once again come together, it’s like one of the most spectacular fireworks displays I’ve ever seen!

“’I want to get naked with you. So. Damn. Soon.’ And I incinerate. I’m a volcano as his hot gaze rolls over me like a scorching summer day on the equator.”

They’re connection is as strong as it ever was and when they once again see each other several years later, it’s finally their time and they need to navigate what it means to be together not only as professional baseball players but being on opposite coasts. We know their physical connection is still HAF, but are they ready for the strain the distance might put on their love? Have the blurry boundaries that exist in Declan’s life been smoothed out? What kind of sacrifices need to be made to have their forever love and most importantly can they be a couple in front of the entire world? We get all these answers along with the epic conclusion to this love story that is one that will be forever in my heart!!

5 It Pays to Listen Stars!!!

…I finished up the book last evening and had a thought that I may not be able to listen to the third book. I even have thoughts about returning the third book. Because I think I’m done. I’ve enjoyed their story for this long and I don’t think I need a third book to tell me they lived happily ever after. This is just like Fifty Shades where I got to the last book and wondered why I was reading anymore. Authors should take care when considering drawing out their subjects stories this long. I mean, what is eight more hours of listening to Declan and Grant’s story going to reveal to me? I already feel good about their ending in this book. What more do I need to read?

I gave it five stars but…
