Good book, interesting and short. The Narration took some getting used to. It sounded patched together at first, but as the story went on was easier to follow.

Good book

Typical Fitzgerald with the story being so much deeper than the length of the short book.

Opens up so many questions on what a person is willing to give up but then do you regret the loss? Amazing short story from my favourite classic author.

Great Fritzgerald

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

Archetypical Fitzgerald story of an average man pining for an extraordinarily rich woman. Narration is fine. Not notable, but not distracting or problematic.

Classic Fitzgerald

This is one of my all time favorite short stories. I thought the performance of the reader could have been better, but I may have just been bitter that I wasn't doing the reading.

Great modernist story by Fitzgerald. The melancholy… every cist male can identify with. Narrator is solid but sounds as close as possible to a mechanical text to speech AI. But Amazon gobbling up these classic short stories and selling them for 1 credit a piece is… disappointing. Should use the opportunity to entrench themselves as a cultural silo for posterity opposed to 1% higher quarterly earnings report.

Great book, solid reading, 59 mins 1 credit!?
