Engaging and fun!

This was a fun listen! I enjoyed the story line and characters. It was engaging and I was eager to figure out… could they pull this off?!

Fun heist story

Fun story with strong and engaging characters. It has a Sex in the City vibe but with the ultimate wedding heist. Great listen and I laughed a few times and it definitely kept my interest.

Strong Friendship Bonds

A good and clever story about three friends in Shanghai that strikes up a plan to heist red envelopes from Lulu (one of the three friends) wedding.

The story actually makes me sad. The pressure and demands that each friend faces everyday in Shanghai is sad. Even for the guys, like Harv and Vic. I love that the three ladies, and Harv & Vic, have strong friendship bonds to help and support each other when family lets you down or isn't an option.

Give it a try! It's a good debut and I look forward to reading more by this author.

It was ok

This book didn’t engage me like I’d hoped.
My biggest takeaway, is that I was given insight into what it is like to be a woman in China.

Such a cute story

I love this book that focuses on friendship. Can’t recommend it enough. I listened to it in two days. 10/10!
