2nd review

This is a light fantasy in a world where a Pantheon of gods will deliver luck if followers produce the right incantation. The problem is there is a limited amount of Luck so when someone gets luck - somebody else loses it.

Here is humor and come-uppance and multiple different characters that are entertaining. So you can read it as a light fantasy and/or reflect on deeper question of why getting ahead has to mean taking it from someone else. Could be read as an allegory for competing interest and nations.

I wrote a longer review but apparently audible did not like it. So here we go again. This book is in the style of a famous English fantasy author that I won't mention because I guess it's not allowed. Hint : T.P.
