The banter between them

Love all three story but this one has to be my favorite one of all

It took me a while to get use to the females voice but I got use to it and now love it .

Incredibly slow burn

The mmc is so damaged that the burn its slower than a snail. I mean, it makes sense with the story, but wow does it make for a loooong story. The storyline itself is very good, and so is the writing. The narrators are incredible. The steamy bits are sparse, but well written. I wish there were a ton more for sure. That’s just not like this author. This book is just totally out of character for this author. I definitely prefer the other two in the series. Definitely.

Surprisingly Satisfying

Having read the previous two Kingcaid books, Johanis was portrayed as such a dark person. It seems hard to believe there is any hope for him. This is really a challenge for love to heal both his and Ella’s pain. A beautiful tale. I enjoyed it, and was pleasantly surprised by how satisfying and complete Johanis’ story grows.
