The book I’ve been waiting for!

I have been waiting for Coach Bex’s story this entire series! This is a perfect end to a nine book obsession and it couldn’t have been better.
Rowan is assigned to the Hawkeyes as a reporter from the local newspaper. Her job is to get a story on the players. Then on mysterious head coach who hasn’t done an interview in years, Rowan has no idea how she’s supposed to make this happen.
Coach Bex has one thing on his mind, a stellar career by winning the Stanley Cup.
Rowan is a thorn in his side always asking questions and always around. He doesn’t trust her but there’s an attraction he can’t deny. Bex can’t help but start to let Rowan in and act on the feelings he’s had since she showed up.
After an article she’s promised she wouldn’t write releases all the trust is wiped away.
Now he thinks it was all a mistake and Rowan doesn’t know how to make it right.

Good book, bad female narration

The book was good, but the female narrator was hard to listen to. It was like listening to a Kardashian that's been a smoker for 40 years. Long, raspy, and extremely drawn out words. She only talked like this with the main female character, but not with the other female voices. The guy narrator was good and easy to listen to.

My favorite out them all

I love age gap romances. And honestly, I adore grumpy man brought to their knees by strong women. This had it all in spades. Plus, they finally took the cup!
