Quamir "Soul" Kelly comes through like a thief in the night, wiping out those who cause friction in the organization.

His profession stems from the mistreatment as a child, and now, he's the one soulless person you don't want to encounter. He is thorough and accurate each and every time, even when it comes to things that are unexpected.

Millie-Rose Taylor is the spoiled, rich girl with no care about anything or anyone. She is the only one she sees in her world. She's dreamed of being a wife for so long that the moment finally presented itself. Her beauty captured attention and even hearts that aren't supposed to be claimed.

Two personalities collide and share a space that causes them to look at what's in front of them instead of what's surrounding them. It's on them to sort out their differences and come to a conclusion that benefits all parties.

Very interesting story. The MMC was nuts but likable. The narrators were god but the attempt at southern accents left a lot to be desired! Overall the drama was entertaining.

Entertaining

I really enjoyed this read. I would’ve like for them to make that connection earlier in the book - however the development of the characters were necessary. Good read.

I enjoyed this book so much got me a few chuckles. That father was a piece of work. im glad her mother wanted her daughter back. those southern accents were a mess but I got passed that and still enjoyed the story although it seemed a lil rushed and not finished. what happened to the father??

I have to agree with someone about the fake southern accent being a bit cringe. However, it is not the worst. I have heard. This was a cute little book. That was great to cleanse my book palette. If you know what I mean. Throughout the entire book, all I could think about was giving Quamir a hug. He had lost so much and I felt so bad for him. I would have loved to see him with a more humble and nurturing significant other, but Millie actually turned out to be OK.

The mispronunciation of Siobhan, pronounced Shih-von (or any variation of Chevonne or Shevaun in English), pissed me off! In the Irish language, the letters “bh” together make the same sound as the letter “v” in English. Do the narrators not look things up? Does anyone check the recordings for quality control? There were also a few grammatical errors and editing issues.

Nonetheless, I liked the plot and character development. Skittles was a fave and I adore Ms. Ava!
