Chrasmere "Chrome" Black, the name is one many knew.

When it comes to running the streets, his crew is the most qualified. Black Metal Gang is the blueprint and holds an undefeated title. Burning rubber is what kept most of them out of jail or in a grave. Chrome is the man who knows how to protect and provide, and those who don't know how hard in the paint he goes soon find out.

Kosha "Fade" Jordan is a woman looking for a fresh start in a new city after her life in Atlanta was tainted. She's not one who needs handouts, though. Her career and business are taking off with more success with the help of her crew. However, she finds herself learning who's in charge faster than she planned.

In Chrome's chaotic world, Kosha fit right in, but Kosha saw no room for him in return. One thing about a man of certainty is that they bogarted their way in and took what they wanted.

1st, Lacy Laurel was a horrible choice for narration. 2nd, there were too many missing pieces in the story. For example, when Fade says she has been letting him love her, it didnt make sense because all we saw was him pursuing and her running. I get there's an unseen timeline but the story doesn't connect those dots. AND chiiile, having afternoon sex in a common area of the house while your teenage daughter is home is crazy business! The storyline had potential but the execution was a no-go.
