Good Characters

The author did a fantastic job of building suspense. Good character development. Overall, the story had a good mix of evil and good with good winning out…which is what I always want.

Never saw that coming. Karen Rose is an incredible writer. Looking forward to her next book.

A very good read .

The book was engaging. The descriptive way she explained the violence left me knowing how sick the perpetrator was without leaving me overwhelmed with having to process each and every blow.

The story line was thorough but at times there was too much explanation,coupled with too many plot lines to follow.

All in all though, I’m left with with a fondness for the writers style.

I’m a big Karen Rose fan. I read this book years ago and saw it on Audible so I decided to take a chance on it and I wish I hadn’t. I really dislike this narrator - she read too slowly most of the time often slurring words. I didn’t enjoy this audiobook at all.
