In this talk Osho takes his audience into the world of Zen.

"There are a few essential things which make Zen absolutely different from any kind of teaching. The most important of these essentials is that Zen is a revolution. All other religions are servants to the vested interests. The rich people and the powerful people, the politicians, have dominated all the religions. The priests have been nothing but servants to these criminals. It is such a worldwide conspiracy that no one recognizes it. It is so obvious and so simple that we are from the very beginning, from our very childhood, being programmed."

This Osho talk is supposed to be about Zen but most of it is taken up with observations about the stupidity of politicians and religious leaders. Some of it is also about the persecution Osho faced. Zen is a very small part of the conversation. This speech was given to a large crowd and at one point they erupt into cheering for a full minute and a half which made me think that the audio had dropped off and I was listening to a broken recording. After the cheering for the last few minutes he leads a meditation and then says how 10,000 souls looked within and this is a historical moment I'm of the opinion this is one of Osho's worse speeches and I'm a huge fan of Osho. Part of the reason I feel it's one of his worst speeches is how off topic it is and how it was poking holes in society and religions. The speech did have lots of stories and jokes which is typical of Osho but he also talked about his persecution. It just seemed off topic and the speech wasn't really about Zen so much as about society at large. Due to the fact that very little Zen actually shows up in this Osho talk and much of the talk was controversial I can't give it a higher rating. Do not recommend.

Zen is hinted at while talking about politicians, religions and persecution.
