this week, the girls put in a call to the bullpen for their trusty closer, coach wags (aka raegan’s dad)! if not for the sports wisdom passed down from coach wags, this podcast might not even exist — so the girls are thrilled to have the man, the myth, the legend step up to the plate while victoria is on a bye week (handling wedding business). coach and raegan shoot the shit in the famous “lounge,” talking trade deadlines, the dodgers’ world series win, tom brady allegedly cloning his dog (???), coach's dream offense/defense lineups, and lots more. safe to say the closer did not disappoint -- welcome to the NTP group chat, coach!

this week, vick and raegan were left unsupervised — producer chlo had business to attend to, but the girls survived! between sean payton and russell wilson’s public feud, we’ve decided sports have officially surpassed the housewives in drama. andy cohen, call us — we’re ready to cohost the NFL reunion!

while their MLS season came to a close (ily sporting), the NHL and NBA are officially back and the girls have added “catch a game” to their new BINGO cards (don’t worry, they’ll pick a team PROMISE). after the usual NFL chaos and a little bit of everything else, they reveal their betrayal lists — you’ll have to listen to hear all about that!

“the british came and fucking creamed us” pretty much sums up the week in sports. between micah parsons’ dramatic dallas return, the bad bunny super bowl halftime show backlash, and the ryder cup heartbreak, we’re coping the only way we know how: mid takes, unsolicited opinions, and and a brutally honest “he’s a 10 but…” session that might ruin your roster. from fake lashes in leadership (looking at you, cathy engelbert) to the eternal question of why men insist on wearing onclouds in the club, no one is safe. pour a glass, open the group chat, and get ready for another round of chaos, laughs, and very serious sports takes.

the girls are back in the swing of things -- reporting the hard-hitting sports news, breaking down questionable sports analogies that maybe need to go back to the drawing board, and crafting their perfect fall starter packs. rest assured: only one glass of wine was consumed this week (not three bottles), so it’s a little less chaotic and a little more structured, but still packed with the same off-the-cuff takes everyone’s dying to hear!
