"What energy is common in the Capricorn season?" The beginning of the new year is often known for new beginnings, resolutions & journeys. It is also known for a cold weather season in many places.
In this episode, I am speaking from personal experience as a Capricorn, enjoying and embracing my morning rituals. I am saying goodbye to the past year when I turned 50. My perspective as a mother of three teenagers and the differences between the time off of school verses the structure when the holiday break is over.
Integrity to pursue your desires and not give up is very important if you don't want to continue to experience the same year as before. The muscle must get stronger. Are you noticing the joyful moments throughout each day?
Intention behind your focus, actions and choices determines the outcome. My "word of the year" last year was Wisdom. I am grateful for that, because it included unforeseen really difficult events the entire year that we will talk more about in future episodes.
This year it is Joy, with Trust as the intention behind it. For most moms, especially those running a business or serving others in addition to running their household and tending to their families, it may be easier to respond to whoever is calling on them at that moment. Can you relate?
This is where building a strong foundation with structure and the ability to choose to pause in difficult moments can be so helpful. To be able to have a calm disposition rather than react to everything and everyone before finishing what you actually are doing at the moment.
Can you choose to be grateful for all the blessings that God has given us, despite the hardships? I celebrated my January birthday in fall with some of my closest girlfriends. We had deep conversation being ourselves. Imagine how you can celebrate life's gifts in an authentic way that feels good to you in the season you're in.
