  • Who is Sinead McSharry? Our interview with the Wild's interim head coach
    Mar 19 2026

We interview Calgary Wild interim head coach Sinead McSharry about the Wild's unusual preseason. We talk about the team's reaction to the news that Lydia Bedford was leaving for a new opportunity in England. Sinead also discusses how this change has affected training in advance to the season, and also if fans should expect any noticeable difference now that she's the head coach.

Cavalry FC is in Mexico this week for their training camp. We talk about the teams they are facing in friendlies. We also chat a bit about the experimental offside rule that is expected to be used by the CPL this season.

There's also some controversy in ACAC futsal that we briefly discuss. And we give an update of what to expect in our next couple of episodes.

  • Lydia Bedford departs Calgary Wild while Ali Musse rejoins Cavalry FC
    Mar 13 2026

We talk about two massive stories from the Calgary soccer scene this week. Calgary Wild head coach Lydia Bedford resigned from the club to take the head coaching job of England's women's U23 team. We discuss this shocking turn of events and what the Wild executive might do to handle this situation.

Cavalry FC had a more positive story this week in that Ali Musse re-signed with the club. Musse is one of the greatest players in Cavalry history, but his return seemed doubtful at the end of last season as his contract ended. We discuss what led to his return and how that will affect the Cavs in 2026.

Our interview this week is with Jerson Barandica-Hamilton, who is the head coach of the University of Saskatchewan women's soccer team. The U of S team has many Calgarians on the roster and a bunch of them will be joining the Saskatchewan representative team at futsal nationals in Calgary in April.

Bim Pepple keeps scoring for Plymouth Argyle. Will he get the call to join Canada for their upcoming friendlies? We talk about it.

  • Mya Jones talks about her recovery from injury and joining the Calgary Wild
    Mar 6 2026

We interview Mya Jones for the third time on the podcast. She had a rough 2025 where she didn't play because of a difficult injury. But she's well on the road to recovery and has signed for the Wild. We catch up with her and cover these topics and if she feels any additional pressure by playing for her hometown team.

James McGlinchey made his Canada debut as the U20 team qualified for the next round of the CONCACAF U20 tournament. We talk about those matches as well as numerous other Calgarians and Calgary Wild players playing internationally this week. Of note, Michelle Romero of the Wild scored for Venezuela vs Brazil and Myla and Emma Schneider made their international debuts with Trinidad and Tobago.

There are college futsal matches at Ambrose University on Friday and Saturday, including the rivalry matches between SAIT and Ambrose on Saturday evening. We talk about the ACAC futsal season as it goes into its final weekend of the regular season.

We also talk about the Calgary Villains fundraiser in support of one of their players. They are hosting a soccer camp on March 24-26 and all proceeds will go to the family.
