Weapon of the Dark Queen Against a darkened cloud it comes, framed by thunder and lightning, soaring over the ravaged land: the flying citadel, mightiest power in the arsenal of the dragon highlords. In an age of war, an evil wizard learned the secret of creating these castles in the air and sought to use them to gain power over all Krynn. Against him were ranged a red-robed magic-user, a cleric, an ancient warrior, and -- naturally -- a kender. Their battle shook the skies of Krynn.

For more than 1600 years, Nick Medea has followed and guarded the Gate that keeps the mortal realm and that of Feirie separate, seeking in vain absolution for the fatal errors he made when he slew the dragon. All that while, he has tried and failed to keep the woman he loves from dying over and over. Yet in the 50 years since the night the dragon breathed over the city of Chicago, the Gate has not only remained fixed, but open to the trespasses of the Wyld, the darkest of the Feiriefolk.

In the chill Northern Wastes, near the ruins of a dead Dragon King's lair, the last remnants of the empire of the wolf gather at the summons of one of their own long thought slain. Through force of arms, blood magic, and the promise of an evil risen from the grave in the form of a great undead dragon, they intend to remake their realm no matter what the cost.

Despite attempts by the wizard Amble and others to prevent bloody conflict, the minotaur empire and the allied kingdoms collide, with neither side truly aware that they are puppets in a struggle between gods and other forces seeking the Spider Ash. An artifact said to be the only thing capable of slaying the King of Dragons --- a legendary creature so powerful that even the gods must kneel to him --- the Spider Ash may also be the one weapon that can prevent the world of Tiberos from falling into horrific ruin.

As the Shatter's fiery influence spreads from across the sky and Aryon seeks to recover from the wheyr attack, events unfold that force the minotaur Rath and his surviving crew to remain in the port. However, as Rath turns his attention to hunting down the assassin who worked for the dread Afafni, he, the knight Erik, the elven mystic Kaldara, andothers discover themselves caught up in a fantastic plot to subvert the very will of the gods and create new lords to rule over all Tiberos. But some of the gods have taken notice....

As the Dragon Moon continues to hold sway over Tiberos and the gods begin to take a hand in matters for their own gain, Rath the minotaur finally returns to the empire. However, accompanying him and his surviving crew is a cargo that immediately puts the mariner at odds with his own people...the wizard Amble, the knight Erik Constantin, Kaldara, the elven mystic, and Grey Gage, reluctant new emissary. There to attempt to close the rifts growing between the empire and the kingdoms, they are instead used as pawns by powers both mortal and not seeking to foment all-out war.

When the Minotaur captain Rath and his fellow survivors manage to escape the piratical wheyr after stumbling across them on an island, they and others discover too late that something ancient came with them. Now, with humans and Minotaur on the brink of war, an uneasy alliance of characters must uncover the truth about an ancient war once again stirring, a war between two manipulative races using all others as their pawns....

The City of Knowledge lies conquered, its longtime ruler, the Gryphon, now in exile as the Aramites continue their quest to finally extend their mastery to the Dragonrealm. With Shade and Valea lost in the world of Nimth—birthplace of the dread Vraad sorcerers—Cabe and Gwen Bedlam must turn to others not only to stop the wolf raiders’ advances, but combat a vengeful undead dragon seeking Cabe. Nick keeps coming across the Dacian Draco, the sign of his ancient enemy Galerius, including a tattoo worn by a human thug. Unfortunately, every trail ends as if years old.

Since he became the guardian of the Gate between our world and Feirie 1600 years ago, Nick Medea, once Saint George, has battled to keep the darkest Feirie - the Wyld - from invading the mortal plane. With the dragon an unwilling part of him, Nick maintains balance between realms, often at great cost to him and those nearest to him. Nick and his ragtag confederates - including the shape-shifter Fetch and Nick's reincarnated love, Claryce - have battled the Wyld, but mortals as sinister as the darkest Feirie.

Since he slew the dragon and unwittingly became the guardian of the Gate --- the passage between our world and Feirie -- Nick Medea, formerly St. George, has striven against tremendous odds to keep the darkness of either realm from crossing into the other. Despite an almost insurmountable task, Nick has succeeded in maintaining the balance, even with the dragon a part of him and ever seeking escape.

As dark forces vie against one another to claim power during the Dragon Moon - in the process seeking to manipulate the minotaur empire and the allied kingdoms into war with one another - a few move to prevent catastrophe from overtaking the world of Tiberos. Sent on a desperate mission by her superior, the half-elf knight Aylin Brightstar and her comrades - the Vledarian siblings Varvara and Nathaniel - must confront their own heritages if they hope to convince bickering realms of the true threat lurking among them.

An alternate 1930s Chicago beset by "rogue"', the newspaper-christened costumed villains kept only in check by the mysterious hero, the Legionary. However, when the Legionary goes missing, and there is no one left to stop the reign of crime, what is the city to do?
