Oram's journey from average Joe to hero begins when he's transported into his favorite game. Lucky for him, he still has access to his Early Backer class, the Phylomancer, a mage class that learns spells and abilities by binding others to him. To become a master of the fantasy world of Aerda, Oram will need to embrace his role as a Phylomancer. Along the way, he will forge powerful bonds with his companions, a beautiful Elven Ranger, a fierce Priestess of the icy North, and a deadly and seductive Demon Assassin.

All aboard the hype train for the latest MMORPG Aerda Online! As an early backer, I get to play the Phylomancer, a mage class that masters spells by bonding with companions. But little did I expect this game would suck me in unlike any other… Now, I face the savage Beastfolk, poised to overrun the wild north of Aerda. I’ll need to find my companions, bind them to me, and with their help become the master of the elements.

A Demon God rises in the south, and he has taken an interest in me and my women. To face this new adversary, I’ll have to travel to the ancient city of Chevalec and form an adventuring party with a cowardly priest, a gamer from Earth in a warrior’s body, and a Halfling prophet with a love for whiskey.

The Blooded One has revealed his plot to me, and I have one chance to stop him and destroy his horde of barbarian warriors. To complete my legend, I need to fight the very Gods and overthrow them. With my wives by my side, I will forge my legacy in the fires of war. We must succeed, or the universe will return to Chaos....
