After the death of my uncle, I inherited his bookstore. It's in Marywill, a quaint little town that neighbors a women's college. The all-female students are my primary clientele, and they hold a secret. They're witches. Every last one of them. Turns out they want magical books for their lessons in the arcane. It's a good thing I'm a Bibliomancer, capable of reading people like books and finding exactly the tome they're seeking.

With the magical ability to read people like books (and read books better than anyone else alive), I'm a bibliomancer. My powers make me the perfect bookstore owner in a college town filled with gorgeous witches. After an eventful opening to the college semester, business is booming in my bookstore. The students at the all-woman college are coming every day to purchase their magical book supplies.

When a flash flood hits Marywill, the entire town is half-buried in water. My bookshop included. Thankfully, I managed to transport the occult tomes to a safe location at the local college for witches. The college, however, requires repairs that the witches don't have the money for.

My life at Marywill seemed like it would continue without a hitch. A new baby, a new teaching job, and the prospect of opening more satellite bookstores throughout the country. Then the Wraiths returned. This time, they're different. They're removing memories, doing everything they can to stop anyone from knowing who they are and what they're doing. It's a mystery that strikes at the heart of my new life in Marywill. And as a bibliomancer, I won't stop until I solve it.

After learning that the dead aren’t so dead, and that the bad guys might be a little more complicated than your average Saturday Morning cartoon, I’m traveling again. Back to Khartoum. Back to my Bibliomancy. I started this new phase of my life as a bookstore owner. I’m looking to end it as a family man, business magnate, and the most powerful bibliomancer in the world.
