The Immortal Ones

Every year, a lottery is held for the hard-working people of Lutum. The prize? Eternal life. And everyone wants it. Well, everyone except for 17-year-old Silverstasia Blackwood. She doesn't think it's fair that the rich get to live luxurious lives while the people of Lutum are enslaved, forced to work hard every day to support the immortals.

After losing her home and her family, Silverstasia Blackwood finds herself in the middle of nowhere, led only by a stranger and a promise of a new life. But it isn’t long before threats begin lurking nearby.

After being rescued by a mysterious man, Silver and the people of Ortus are brought into an underground bunker. But who is this mysterious man, and can he be trusted? As tensions build beneath the surface, threats overhead are far from over. The Elites still want Silver, and they'll do just about anything to get her. If Silver wants to stay alive, she'll have to find a way to join forces with strangers she knows nothing about. The only problem is that some of these strangers have plans of their own—plans that include Silver.
