Both the MFC and MMC voices were spot on, helping you connect with all of the characters. Storyline brings you in. Quite a bit of spice, but in a good way. Looking forward to the rest of this series!

This book exceeded my every expectation! It was truly an experience! I listened to the audio while following along on my kindle. Benjamin Sands had the most enthralling accent that will make your toes curl and Neva Nevarre nailed Alix’s sass!!

The book was also amazing! This is the first book I’ve found that contains unique chapter art depicting events in each chapter and I loved discovering each one!!!

Alix and Daemon’s sexually charged witty banter was electric! I could not get enough of the enemies to lovers and forbidden love tropes 😍 all they wanted to do was rip each other’s clothes off and I was there for it!!

While this book was a mix of a Beauty and the Beast and Anastasia retelling it completely stood apart as its own story. The world and people King introduces is fascinating and she did a great job setting the stage for future books in the series.

The chemistry was intense, the banter endless, and the intimate moments were toe curling. You need to add this book to your TBR asap because you will NOT want to miss out on A Thorn in Every Heart!

I think this story could've been great. However, Alix is so friggin dumb it takes every ounce of restraint not to scream at her out loud rather than mentally like I have been. She's obtuse, selfish, and so uncaring about anyone else's situation. She's supposed to be acting like her grandma from 60 years prior, or at least like the character of the book, but the book is barely referenced after several chapters. Seriously, she never even THINKS about the book or her grandmother when people ask her questions about herself. It's just so dumb. She's not fooling anyone because she's just bumbling around. OMG
