sucked me right in and couldn't put it down

can we please get the next ones on audible please. the story pulled me in and didn't let go until I was done and I'm still grinding my teeth for more

Needs to be re-recorded

I was very excited for this book but unfortunately had to DNF. The female narrator sounds way, WAY too old to be playing Lonnie. It’s incredibly distracting and doesn’t match the tone of the story at all. There’s no problem with older actors but this is a romance about a young woman being played by someone who sounds to be in their 60’s.

Great book, Narrator is Terrible.

The book was amazing storyline was great it was really hard to enjoy though because the narrator did not fit this book. she reminded me of somebody who just got dentures and is not used to him yet and trying to talk with them. her emotions for the book made the book very blase but other than that love the storyline.

An unexpected fantasy treasure

I try new-to-me authors when Audible has a big sale. I end up discarding more than 2/3, unfinished. This book was so good, I stopped to buy the sequel when only part way through.
The world-building was layered, the characters complex and the narration added to the experience rather than detracting or distracting. This author has won a place on my must-buy list.

Interesting story

An interesting story line and great performance. My only complaint is that the story feels unfinished. I get that with a series there will always be something left undone but this is really bad.
