Mystery and slow burn romance

Buying this book was something I did on a whim, thinking, fae, romance, I can work with that. Turns out, this was a genuinely well-written book, the romance of it all was enjoyable and the banter between the main characters was quite funny. My only complaint is that the second part isn't out yet, and I need it in my library right now. I'm not a fan on cliffhangers when the second book isn't out yet.

Not Bad

I enjoyed the story overall. The MMC was definitely hot and the world building was exactly what this story needed. The FMC left a lot to be desired. She had the emotional maturity of a five year old. Most of the book she was just plain annoying. Half way through the book I was hoping the MMC left her alone and gave her a decade to grow up...

Great story, cliffhanger ending

I loved the setting of the story and I didn't see the ending coming, would have loved for a bit more whodo in the story with it being new Orleans but I can't wait for book 2

Amazing!!!!

I was so excited to start this after reading the filthy rich vampire series. This one did not let me down. That ending!? Ahhh I’m already dying for the next one

Outstanding!!!

This storyline grabbed me on the first page and kept me engrossed to the epilogue! Grumpy/sunshine, fated lovers, dramatic royal shenanigans and a great banter between MMC & FMC. Recommend and highly as possible!!
