Jimmy Lynch and Charlene Doyle have a dysfunctional relationship. They are both originally from the mountains of western North Carolina but now live in the suburbs of Atlanta. Neither one has assimilated to suburban life. Nor are they good people.

Jimmy is an insensitive, abusive man with a terrible temper. Charlene is a petty criminal who is a habitual cheater. A horrific incident occurs at their home one night that turns their suburban life upside down. As we get to know Jimmy and Charlene better, we learn there is more to them than being flawed. The abovementioned incident causes them to evolve into the darkest type of human.

This is a super crazy and very entertaining horror/splatterpunk story! There’s definitely lots of R+ rated scenes throughout, as well as gore!
Some actions at home make Charlene and Jimmy take off into the woods to start new lives. Once there, they find that they have a mutual new hobby, which they both seem to enjoy!!
They make a killer couple!! ❤️🔪🩸
This is my first book from this author and I really enjoyed her writing style. It was well written and I liked the storyline. The ending was fantastic too!
I listened to the audio version and the narrator did a fantastic job!

It’s out now, so grab your copy when you need something to keep you engaged!!

An excellent messed-up love story. It had the perfect amount of story with the perfect amount of gore. Getting this from a new Author is fantastic. I cannot wait for further books from Leslie. Lila Kerry delivered amazingly, and brought the story to life in so many ways it felt almost more like an audio play. Highly recommended addition to your splatterpunk collection. Something I would not mind listening to again in the future and anxiously waiting for a sequel (wink, wink)

Wow! This was definitely a very graphic sexual and muderous plot. If you can’t handle sexual context don’t read this one. Follow Jimmy and Charlene as they go on a murderous rampage with sexual thrills along the way. The narrator was good, the only thing I’d complain about if that often time get “Jimmy” sounded like “Jenny” and would throw me off for just a split second especially in the beginning. She’d say it right for awhile then it would sound like “ Jenny”. I thought the story was smooth going into one event into another. It kept me intrigued and wanting more. I’d like a second book.

Sex, nature, and good old fashioned violence! I absolutely enjoyed reading this book and have recommended to many others. Our girl Charlene is wild and untamed and I’m here for it! Shoutout to Lila Kerry for bringing that extra bit of charm to these killer characters!

I feel like this book has sooooooo much potential for a second one. If there is no second one, I'm not really sure what the point of this one is to be honest. Narration was awesome, Lila Kerry is the cats ass.
