Listen, I’m all about the sexual chemistry and the slow build up. I’m also a fan of this author. But this cat and mouse game grew mildly tiresome. And at the end of the day, there weren’t enough moments of truly “getting to know each other” to make the romance believable. It was a story of lust and primal instinct. I’m not saying this couple isn’t a true love match. I’m saying the author didn’t give us enough to confirm it as such in the meat of the story. Too short for my liking as well. Great narration. I still recommend but it did fall a little short.

I love this series I loved Crank and Quinn’s story but it was way too short is my only complaint. Narration great story great!!!!

I listened to this book on Audible. Narration was great. The author does a great job sharing emotions from different points of view. Having side characters from other related books was great. you could feel her struggle to follow what she has always wanted but also allowing her self to feel. He has to decide to be a man and treat her right and show respect. Great read.
