This is the second book in the Verfallen Asylum series, a monster ménage dark romance. It’s an outstanding sequel to the excellent Cute but Psycho. Hazel, Zero, and Gonzo’s story is intense, dark, unhinged, and captivating. The characters are enigmatic, dark, and intriguing. Beatrix Hollow’s writing is unique and fascinating: some scenes are graphically creepy, others are steamy, and the result is thrilling. It was a delight to see familiar faces from the first book again. The cast of characters is definitely impressive. Michael Norman Johnson and Ri Paige did an outstanding job bringing this story to life. I am looking forward to listening to Cute but Deadly. #PFPAudio

This may not be a "for everyone" kind of series, but I'm honestly loving it. It's dark with morbid humor, captivating characters that are absolutely insane even if they'd like to believe they're not. Getting the backstory on Stein was great and creepy, but taps into that whole monster romance thing that so many of us twisted girlies love. For those interested, this is menage romance, and there are MM steamy scenes.

The narration was great! Ri Paige is quicky becoming a favorite for me and MNJ is versatile as ever giving life and distinction to each of the characters he voices. Five stars, highly recommend if you aren't afraid of your dark and quirky side 😉

Cute but Creepy by Beatrix Hollow is a paranormal asylum menage romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Michael Norman Johnson and Ri Paige. This is the second book in the Verfallen Asylum series.

I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed the relationship between Hazel, Gonzo, and Zero. Their relationship is messy but oh so hot! You can't help but root for them.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Cute But Deadly to be released on August 11, 2025.

Michael and Ri did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a paranormal romance, asylum romance, forced proximity romance, or a menage romance.

This was such an unhinged book and I was here for it all 👏🏼 I LOVED cute but Psycho and I knew I would enjoy this second book in the series just as much. Hazel, Zero and Gonzo were even more unhinged than Bree and her men and I couldn’t read this book fast enough.

I really enjoyed seeing Zeros character become even more unhinged and I loved seeing his therapy with Hazel 😅 Gonzo and Hazel were cute together too! The whole book had me on the tip of my toes and I didn’t know what to expect half the time. I thoroughly loved this book. If you like crazy, unhinged, psycho, MMF, monster romances than this book is for you 👏🏼

Just did the audio ALC and I loved it just as much as the first time I physically read it! The narrators did a great job bringing the story to life.

Cute but Creepy is the second book in the Verfallen Asylum series. Hazel is the FMC of this book. She is the phoenix sister to Bazel in book one. Bazel is a basilisk born to phoenixes. Hazel was brainwashed by her uncle to kill Bazel. She went hunting her brother. She got herself put into Verfallen Asylum where Bazel has lived since he was a child. Hazel never thought she would find love. She has two of the most unique mates. I just love this series.

Ri Paige and Michael Norman Johnson did a fantastic job narrating this book.
