Am I depraved because I loved this book? It is definitely not for the faint of heart. It is the story of two twisted people with much darkness in their lives who find each other. The narration is perfect.

This is a dark, erotic psychothriller. And may I add, gory. I am glad I decided to read other reviews on kindle and not base my decision soley on the single review here which was a negative one. I am not opposed to that listeners opinion. As I stated in the title, this is truly not for everyone.


I do not like gory movies but was surprised that I even had a few smirking moments with this audiobook. The storyline could have been fleshed out better making this a 5 star rating for those who have a penchant for this genre.

Not giving spoilers: The story evolves around a woman with a traumatic childhood, who has developed psychotic urges, questionable family ties, and partners who fit right in.

This book in my top 3 favorite books of all time and being able to listen to it when ever I want is amazing. The narrator did a fantastic job.

I shouldn’t love this as much as I do but holy SHIT. so many trigger warnings. As a SA survivor it was SO. SATISFYING. when she got revenge on her abuser!!
