I read some smutty books in the past and left feeling kind of icky and had kind of dreaded trying again but I did by a friends recommendation an I’m so glad I did! This is such an amazing balance between some seriously hot back and forth with consent and safety preserved. The characters are real people with real trauma and real goals for their lives trying to find a way to still hang on to intense animalistic drives while still being a good person. It makes for such a delightful listen.

An intense and sweet story of romance that heals relationship trauma. Easy to get swept up in the emotions as the main couple get swept up in each other. There is an honesty and a magic that is hard to describe. Gave me some perspective on how my own triggers might look to an outside observer. Superb vocal performances! Looking forward to the next book!

I love Hope and Devon so much more!! This story is so awesome, there is chemistry, character growth, humor, spice, found family… it’s so good!!! Narrators are perfect 👌🏼
Devon is SO protective and safe, so determined to put Hope’s needs first, even when she tries to refuse.

Hope is so selfless and loves with a deep heart! Watching her fight through her trauma and help others too is so healing on so many levels.
