I've been a fan of Edward Lee for a long time, and this is the first exposure to John Pelan I've had. Thos story from the two of them was very weird, but very fun. It was disgusting in quite a few parts, but it was violent and sleazy in the best ways. And I didn't see the ending coming. Definitely worth a buy.

This is an Edward Lee and John Pelan backwoods eldritch horror story with all the gore, sex, and explicit details typical in their works. I only wish the ending could have been held off for a while longer to more fully explore the peculiar nature of the horrors being faced.

I should have shut this off at the 1 hour mark but I didn’t. Then I should have shut it off after 2 hours and again at 3 but noooo I just had to see what was going to happen. I am deeply ashamed that listened to this. Beware it’s pretty disturbing even for this genre. Or maybe I’m just a wimp.
