He unleashed the darkness in her…but it might cost them both.

Billionaire Braden Black has one hard limit in the bedroom. He doesn’t talk about it, and he doesn’t engage in it. But when his lover, Skye Manning, begs him for it, he has to face facts - while he may be able to buy her anything, he can’t give her this. Though he loves her desperately, he’s starting to worry their relationship can’t continue.

Skye Manning has fallen down the rabbit hole and become captive to her needs. When Braden asks her why she desires something so dark, and she finds she can’t respond, she knows she’ll have to come up with those answers on her own. She’s willing, but she wants something in return - Braden’s complete honesty about his past.

Because Skye is convinced her needs, his limits...everything is tied to this one secret.

If you consider this a trilogy, this is a fabulous ending! This is the end of Skye’s POV, but the next several books continue with Braden’s, so the story does sort of go on. But we do get resolution to the Addie backstory (finally!) and so many other plot twists and turns that we didn’t even see coming! This is just such a great series, I can’t even recommend it enough. 5/5!

Great end of the trilogy!

This book was well written, very entertaining, and full of chemistry between the main characters. HOWEVER, I found the main female character to be extremely judgmental, combative, controlling, and immature. It was difficult to relate to her because of her unrealistic expectations for her partner (Braden) and mother. Both of the previously mentioned characters were flawed human beings that deserved some grace or sympathy because no one is perfect. I wanted to support her like I do with most female characters. But it was impossible to do so because she was irritating! She came across as a naive, young woman that desperately needed the therapy that she did pursue later on in the novel. Her internal struggles were obvious but I did not find myself relating to her. I do recommend this book but I wish the female character was resilient, inspiring, less annoying, and more complex.

Well Written Book…Annoying MFC 😤

Best BDSM romance ever. Actually goes in depth into the psychology of the life style. Very intelligently written.
