Annalise was desperate to have a baby but was unwilling to give up her freedom to take a mate. Desperate times called for desperate measures, so she hired a stud to provide what she needed.

This is book 3 in Ryans' Hired series. A great addition to the series that can be read as a standalone. This series takes place in an Omegaverse, which is not typically my go to genre, but this series caught my attention, and I've enjoyed the previous books so far. This book features main characters Annalise and Liam. I love how Annalise's past has shaped her future as well as her independence. While it's made her strong, it's also alienated her from attachments which is sad. Liam is different, a danger and slave as seen by the majority of society, he was raised with love and a strong family dynamic. I adored his indecision when chosen to be breed but love his determination to be and do the best he can. A great romance with a good balance of angst, sweet and steam and a beautiful HEA.

I liked this fresh-ish take on the Omegaverse dynamic, a different way of seeing the Alpha. Both the MMC and the FMC were written well and their actions in the story were realistic based their background experiences. I loved how patient and mischievous the MMVC was. This is part of a series but can be read as a standalone, but the previous books are interesting too and you get the backgrounds of the other omegas to see how they came to be in Eden.

This is a lighter Omegaverse story and I actually much prefer this take on the dynamic. Omegaverse can get quite dark, but this is much more cozy than dark. It still has all the knotting and dominance, submission, etc. but there is also genuine care and love which I really enjoyed. There is a constant underlying sense of injustice and prejudice for both the alphas and omegas in this world, and I'm curious to see if that develops further. This is strictly omegaverse so no shifters or shifting, just the dynamic.

There are quite a few spicy scenes as you can infer from the title, and they are pretty hot. The narrators were fantastic and they really embodied both main characters. I'm looking forward to listening to the next book int he series.

I listened to this audiobook without reading/listening to the first two and while i have a grasp of what’s going on, i have so many questions. I wish there was a little more back story. I try to never write reviews with spoilers so i’ll leave it vague. But i do recommend at least reading/listening to the first book maybe it wouldn’t be so confusing. But overall i feel it was good. I liked story, i just wanted more info on why things are as they are and maybe what time period it is.

I cannot say enough about this love set of voices!! Definitely love the twist on the pack kind of lifestyle. If you are looking for a palate cleanser from something deep and dark, this is it!

It is one of those quick listens (it was for me at least). Idk what it is for me but knowing that these to VA/VO are married, adds a whole new element to the stores they narrate!

The story also goes to show, all the best laid plans go out the window when it comes to hormones, claiming, and pure need! I loved this!!!

I highly enjoyed reading this unique take on omegaverse. The story was overall sweet and engaging, and my hesrt went out to both main characters.

The narrator duo was absolutely fantastic and really slammed home each emotional delivery.
