This King brother was a beast among beast. Rude. Entitled. A**hole. Dark.

I was not sure what to think when some of these things were done or said. I have had the pleasure of many different anti-hero romance. This one took the cake. HE WAS A BEAST. Not the good kind, but for this heroine she falls in love. This girl was really lacking . There were many things that I just could not get past and other things that were expected. This was my first King brother. I read/listen to many a romances. I love to see a change in character that lead them to that one someone. But I was not sure this was enough space for this King brother to change and love.

I did find that Thomas Locklear (and the speed of listening) were just the combination. Locklear's voice had range, depth, and perfect pitch for the various male/masculine characters.

I consistently find Thomas Locklear narrations to be steamy alpha males at the heart of the story, especially when the author is Piper Stone. If you like Thomas' voice, and you like Piper's storytelling, this book is a very appealing romantic relationship that develops against the backdrop of Mafia confrontations. An excellent mix of romance and treachery!

Piper Stone can really write an exciting sexy story! All of the boxes were checked off in this one!
Thomas Locklear can make your pants fall off with his narration! He can make me think I am in the story instead of Rebel. He is a master for sure! I didn’t want it to end!

Another outstanding book in this series! I love the mafia side of this one. We get a little look into Vincenzo’s life. This brother just rocked my world. He is harsh and demanding but has that other side. I loved seeing how she snuck into his world and heart. Then when his brother razzes him. So great!

Love love love Thomas Locklear’s voice for this brother! Its gruff! Then when they all get together? He is fabulous at the different voices! Obviously I listened to this on audio and Thomas Locklear rocked this one! I could listen to him all day being these King boys
