In all the years I loved Joshua Luca, he never knew it. My infatuation with him led to some stupid decisions, so I swore off my teenage crush and forgot about him.

But our mums are still best friends and when I’m forced back to London, without me knowing, they arrange for me to stay with him.

Joshua hasn’t lost his swagger, his charm or those oh-so-perfect lips that I’ve imagined kissing so many times. He takes me under his wing, helps me flat-hunt and even coaches me through some dates.

Until his coaching starts to feel a lot like actual dating and my crush is back with a vengeance.

I know that loving Joshua leads to disaster but I can’t help but wonder whether the way he looks at me has changed and whether when we kiss, it feels as real to him as it does to me.

I am a huge fan of Louise Bay and this series of books has been one of my very favorites. (Mr. Mayfair, Mr. Knightsbridge, Mr. Smithfield, and Mr. Park Lane) This group of friends has been so much fun to follow and to watch each stubborn man fall hopelessly in love with who they think is someone totally off limits. In Mr. Park Lane, Joshua has known Hartford most of his life but never thought of her in a romantic way. All that changes when she crashes back into his life and really forces him to rethink and reevaluate the direction of his life in more ways than one. I love that Louise touches on big pharma and the problems there, along with addressing the complicated concerns of parents with children who struggle with ADHD. This story felt very contemporary and in touch with reality yet still being the escape that I prefer from a romance novel complete with a perfect HEA. Low angst, high heat, sweet romance and all the characters I have fallen in love with from the previous books made for the perfect conclusion to this series. And of course it just wouldn’t be right without Shane East and Saskia Maarleveld narrating and dropping me right in the middle of London. Chef’s kiss perfection.

Love, love, love this book!

I love these contemporary British characters and Louise Bay has good story lines…. A bit more steam would take me to full 5 stars.
This was a very enjoyable romance!

The dry British wit is great. The story is well put together with angst, heat and a good HEA. I also like the narrators.

Awesome

I found this story to be without drama. I was ready for no drama. There was just enough sex and intimacy, humor, and learning experiences for both the main characters. I found the story low key, and enjoyable. I recommend this book in the audible form, however. If I had to read it, I think I would have struggled. Shane and Saskia made it a perfect listen.
