Even players deserve a second chance
Louise Bay writes some of my favorite British heroes, and I was thrilled to hear she would be working on our next Audible Original. It’s well known around the office that I can’t resist a British accent, so when I heard that Saskia Maarleveld and Shane East would be narrating, I could hardly contain my excitement. At first, Truly and Noah may seem like complete and total opposites—he’s a thrill-seeking businessman who thrives in the limelight, while she much prefers a night in her pajamas at home. So when she’s thrust front and center at her family’s charity, Truly quickly realizes she needs all of the help she can get when it comes to navigating the London business world—even if she did turn Noah down all those years ago.
