Action-packed audiobook about murder, tragedy and greed. Wren is rescued by a grumpy smoke jumper named Phoenix. There is an age gap which concerns Phoenix. Wren remains steadfast in her convictions and her commitments despite her family's disapproval. Skyler Morgan did a wonderful job of narrating this book.

This one really surprised me! It has an amazing suspenseful story mixed in with the relationship stuff. I love that! Piper Stone does an excellent job working those two elements together flawlessly. I enjoyed getting to know all the Missoula Bad Boys! Phoenix had sooo many hidden secrets it was wonderful learning all of them! I can’t wait for more in this series.

Skylar Morgan filled my ears in this one. He is a joy to listen to as he does a wonderful job.
