This book broke my heart and gave me hope over and over again. I wish that it didn't have to end. I recommend this Duet to anyone who can handle the brutality and the heroism. I loved it!

I loved this story. It is tough to swallow at times especially the tortures that Tess endures. However, Q devotion to finding her and supporting her is what wraps around heart. They are a love story like no other.

The story is very good. It was very intense as per Ms Winters writing always is. My only problem with this audible book was the editing. The changes in character voices from Ms Belle and Mr Morgan was so badly spliced it was hard to enjoy listening. I don’t think that I would buy another audible book by these producers! I really enjoyed the story though.

I listened to book one and now two. They don’t have the rest to purchase. The book was so good and I want to know what happens but now I can’t. 😢

This series deserves all the stars in the galaxy! Five just isn’t enough. It’s a perfect blend of relatable, dark, and fantasy. The tension is off the charts, and I just can’t get enough. Then enter Jacob Morgan and it is a perfect masterpiece! His narration takes my breath away. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys this genre. However, it may be too much if you are not accustomed to dark romance. It depicts several unsavory topics in graphic detail. In my opinion it is pure perfection.
