Pack Darling is one of my comfort listening. What I enjoyed most was how distinct the alpha's personalities were. I also really enjoyed Lilah as a character. You really want to root for her. So my expectations were really high for this book. I patiently waited for the audio version because I really really like both voice's actors performance. Kelsey Navarro Foster is honestly in my top 10!

Unfortunately, this book did not hit as high for me.

The MM relationship. I usually enjoy MM relationship, but this did not seem like a relationship to me - merely sex on paper. Dutch was just coming up as a disposable tissue. I did not feel any special kinship with the other guys that warrants the sexual side.

The guys were not as developed as I wish they had been. I just finished the book and I can barely remember the name of the characters - first because there are SOO many nickname in this book and it gets hard to track who is who after a while and secondly because none of them left an impact in my mind much.

I wish more time was invested in resolving Sol's issues. It seems like it went by way too quickly to make way for spice to happen.

This is an ok book. You probably won't regret getting it, but don't set your expectation as high as I did or you might be disappointed.

I am hoping the next book can rekindle my affection for this universe.

I love a good slow burn and this one burned real fucking slow. Lots of plot and tension. Lola really edges you!

This story is amazing. It riffs off lilahs previous story and helps if you read that one first. It’s a Slow burn with the spice but the getting into the story is amazing. You can’t go wrong with Troy Duran or Kelsey Navarro. They’re both amazing. I wish they voiced everyone of the audiobooks I love. Lola Rock is a masterpiece. Couldn’t love her stories more. I just wish there were more of them.

Where to start🤔 Lola rock did it again. She drew me into a story I didn’t want to end. I loved how it picked up from the first 2 books. I would say 3 but that 3rd one was an added bonus. Sol and her boys were just like Lila’s crazy pack. Sol was just as bad assed as Lila if not a little bit more. Sol story is so much deeper. No cliff hanger either but I do hope that we get an added bonus on this one 2. I won’t spoil why. You will just have to see for yourselves. Totally worth the money.
It’s spicy, intense, gut twisting but also fun. If you don’t like the mm stuff then don’t bother but I will say this though. You are so missing out.
I want to see Lila and sol take down the government. I want sweet karma of a hard to get faded mate come into Lila’s father in laws lives just for pay back and I want to see if sol’s sister finds a life with pain. But hey that’s just me. So go support Lola rock and enjoy the wild ride she brings to life with her story telling. The narrators are an added bonus to these books as well. So stop reading the reviews and find out for yourself. I would recommend reading book 1,2 and if you can stand the heat book 3. Before reading or listening to this one.
